Constant Improvements – Part 5

Here we are again with another roundup of improvements that make NextAgency work better for you. These may not be headline features, but these four enhancements solve real problems and simply your day.

Let’s start with custom fields first. We’ve made them smarter by letting you assign them by market segment and product type. When you have lots of custom fields, this eliminates clutter by showing only the fields relevant to each specific case. Fields you need for individual clients won’t show up on group case records, and vice versa. When creating or editing a custom field, you’ll see Assignment Options where you can select which market segments and product types should display that field.

Second, we added a new Termination Date field for tracking exactly when policies end. This isn’t a problem when a policy ends on its renewal dates, but when that’s not the situation, this new system field simplifies things. Significantly, it also enables automated workflows that trigger when coverage stops and makes audits cleaner by providing clear policy end dates.

Third, you can now view employees and dependents directly from the Cases/Policies page. Select your case, then check Employees for group cases or Dependents for individual cases. This makes it easier to access critical client information without leaving the main Cases/Policies view.

Fourth, we’re making a small but important change to folder naming. In your agency and case libraries there’s always a folder titled “System.” These contain information the system needs to access. That’s why they can’t be renamed, edited or moved. We’re renaming them “Protected” folders to more clearly communicate what they contain. They have the same functionality and content, but the new name is more intuitive and informative.

As always, these improvements reflect our commitment to making NextAgency work the way you do. For us, that’s what putting the You back into user-friedly is all about.
