Some agents coming to NextAgency from other agency management systems comment that their systems seem carved in stone. They feel stuck. They tell us that like that we’re constantly updating and improving NextAgency. Some of our enhancements are major. Sometimes they’re small but impactful. Here’s some of the less flashy improvements that make a difference.
Now you can duplicate, copy, or move tasks and notes between cases. No more creating repetitive follow-up tasks from scratch when you’re dealing with similar client situations. Whether you’re tracking application status or handling billing issues, you can reuse what you’ve already created.
We also enhanced how tasks and notes connect to your contacts. You can now assign contacts to any task or note, then see all related items directly in a contact’s record. This eliminates the need to jump around task-to-task to understand relationships and accountability.
Then there’s the new Termination Date system field, making it easy to track exactly when a policy ends. This means clearer recordkeeping and automated workflows that trigger when coverage stops.
Finally, we smartened up renewal date calculations. You can now set your own default for how renewal dates are calculated—whether that’s one year from effective date or the day before. Or set renewals for January 1st. Plus, you can turn on automatic policy status updates based on effective and renewal dates, eliminating manual policy-by-policy updates.
We’ve long gotten high marks for ease of use on review sites like Capterra and G2. But we’re not resting on our laurels. We implement 30-to-40 improvements per year, not because something’s broken (those are called bugs), but because doing better makes NextAgency an even greater value.
